The main events of the 2023 Beijing Design Week concluded on October 7, 2023.

More than 1,000 creative design activities took place at more than 70 venues across Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei during the 2023 Beijing Design Week, spanning approximately 3.5 million square meters in total. Altogether, the events attracted more than 6,000 designers and 1,500 design brands and institutions from over 50 countries and regions, and saw more than 3.5 million visitors from across the globe alongside 80 million online viewers.

At the 2nd “China Aerospace Science Fiction Season”, one of the major activities of Design Week, dozens of cutting-edge technologies in the field of aerospace were showcased at the Aerospace Science and Technology Industry Collaborative Innovation Center, in an effort to facilitate industrial transformation and cooperation, which is an important step towards sci-tech innovation. Meanwhile, the trailer for Macbeth, China's first XR digital drama, was unveiled at the 2023 Taihu International Stage Art Forum as a highlight.

Additionally, the event also witnessed the launch of the international design cooperation program for 2024. The Organizing Committee of Design Week signed a cooperation agreement with the French Professional Fine Craft Federation (Ateliers d'Art de France), to jointly organize "Revelations China", which is expected to become a leading trade show for creative craft in China.  An agreement has been reached with the Milan Children's Design Week on in-depth cooperation in 2024.
