The Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), supported by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), hosted a seminar on Dec 31, 2024, at the China Hall of Science and Technology, to advance the innovation and development of next-generation semiconductors.

Key attendees included Zhang Feng from the CAST’s Strategic Development Department, Wang Huan from the CIE, and experts from institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tiangong University, Yangtze Memory, and Huawei HiSilicon.

Experts discussed the future trends, challenges, and strategies for next-generation semiconductors, laying a solid foundation for advancing future research in this field. The seminar served as an important platform for collaboration and insight into China’s semiconductor industry.
