Research achievements related to space science, as well as topic reviews, new concepts and system designs related to space science missions. The specific fields include: space astronomy and solar physics; space physics and space weather; space science exploration payload design methods and related technologies; lunar and planetary science; space remote sensing and space earth science; microgravity science and space materials science; space life science, origin of life and extraterrestrial life; mechanics and electronics for space science payloads, artificial intelligence; orbit dynamics, space-time datum, and other spacecraft design technology related to space science missions.
CNCOSPAR special issue of CJSS
Since joining the International Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) in 1993, China has submitted the "National Report of Space Science Activities in China" (CNCOSPAR National Report) to COSPAR every two years. Increasingly, this series of reports has become an important channel for the world to understand the development of China's space science.
Correspondingly, since 2008, the CJSS has published a CNCOSPAR special issue every two years, which includes the progress of Chinese space science, such as Manned Spaceflight Program, Lunar and Deep Space Exploration, Achievement Highlight and Progress Update of Space Science Missions, Ground-based Observation Project, application Satellites, and International Cooperation, etc.
