Elsevier has released its 2024 CiteScore™ metrics. CCS Chemistry achieved a CiteScore of 17.1, placing 26th out of 404 journals in the General Chemistry category—ranking in the top 7% worldwide.

Launched in 2019, CCS Chemistry has grown rapidly in global recognition. The journal is indexed in databases such as Scopus, CAS, DOAJ, ESCI, and CSCD. It has published over 1,400 articles from researchers across China, the United States, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and other countries, accumulating more than 29,000 citations and 3.5 million downloads to date.

In 2023, the journal reported an impact factor of 9.4 and was listed among the Top Q1 journals in the Chinese Academy of Sciences Journal Ranking. CCS Chemistry continues to welcome original, high-quality submissions from the global scientific community.
