Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica (Chinese Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, CJAVS) is one of the earliest scholarly journals in animal and veterinary sciences in China (first published in 1956). The CJAVS (now published monthly), is supervised by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), sponsored by the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAAV), and edited by the Editorial Committee of CJAVS and the Institute of Animal Sciences (IAS), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).
