The International Journal of Nursing Sciences is an official peer-reviewed research journal of the Chinese Nursing Association. The journal aims to promote excellence in nursing and health care by disseminating the latest, evidence-based, peer-reviewed clinical information and original research, providing an international platform for exchanging knowledge, research findings and nursing practices.


The journal covers a wide range of nursing topics, such as advanced nursing practices, bio-psychosocial issues regarding health, cultural perspectives, lifestyle changes as a component of health promotion, and chronic disease, among others. IJNSS publishes four issues per year, in January, April, July and October. Its targeted readership covers practicing nurses in all spheres and at all levels who are committed to advancing their practice and professional development based on new knowledge and evidence, managers and senior members of the nursing industry, and nurse educators and student nurses.


IJNSS seeks to enrich insight into the clinical needs and the implications of nursing intervention and service. Contributions are welcomed from other health professionals on issues that have a direct impact upon nursing.
