Since the beginning of this year, the Ningbo Association for Science and Technology （NBAST） has extensively mobilized various types of associations in the city to provide services for grassroots units, in a bid to shape new development advantages through technological innovation.
By now, it has hosted more than 570 visits from grassroots units and enterprises, collected more than 400 problem-solving needs, and helped address more than 260 issues regarding human resources, technologies, and more.
In response to the urgent needs of enterprises to introduce high-end professionals, overcome cutting-edge technological challenges, and achieve product transformation and upgrading, local associations for science and technology in Haishu, Beilun, Ninghai, and other districts are actively interpreting policies for the construction of academician workstations and sci-tech innovation centers. They are fostering connections between enterprises and expert teams in related fields. With the support of these associations, a total of 5 intelligence introduction platforms have been established.
The Ningbo Heat Treatment Industry Association, the Ningbo Foundry Industry Association, the Ningbo Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, and other municipal-level academic associations engaged in an activity named "Problem-solving Expert Consultation". This activity focuses on proposing technical improvement solutions for related enterprises in process flow, safety production, waste control, and treatment, with a total of 90 technical problems solved.
Relying on the intellectual resources provided by the grassroots units, the NBAST has substantially promoted industry-education-research cooperation. This effort has led to the implementation of multiple cooperation projects, including the "Noise Reduction Improvement in Thermal Management and Pumps" project and the "Nantang Light Storage and Charging" project.
Moving forward, the NBAST will continue to promote the aggregation and gathering of high-end intellectual resources, and accelerate the formation and development of new quality productive forces.
